Location
Mosonmagyarovar is located in north-western Hungary, close to the Hungarian-Austrian-Slovakian border.

In the Fő (Main) street more remarkable buildings can be found: the Town House, the Cselley-House, the Habsburg family mansion and more baroque buildings as the ex Fekete Sas (Black Eagle) Hotel and Restaurant.
Mosonmagyarovar is famous for its medicinal water. The thermal water of Mosonmagyarovar is recognised as medicinal water, has been ranked among the 5 most effective curative waters in Europe. Conditions treated: articular and spinal disorders of degenerative nature, Bechterew's disease, arthritis, neuralgia, post accident conditions.
The largest and oldest hotel of Mosonmagyarovar, the 3-star Hotel Minerva is situated only 300 m from the spa, in the centre of the city.
